This is a 1910s style two piece suit in mauve coloured wool with silver coloured button detailing and is ideal for WW1, Suffragette rallies and Titanic era events and theatricals.
Semi-fitted double breasted jacket with shawl collar and triple row of machine stitched detailing. Matching skirt in a slim, a-line style with faux wrap-over feature and decorative buttons and machine stitching detail.
Selling because it no longer fits me and it's time to pass it on to someone else! This outfit has seen a lot of use at Suffragette rally re-enactments and has even featured on the cover of a book!
Please note: This is the first suit I ever made and some of the construction techniques do not meet my current standards, however the suit is perfectly wearable and would be perfect for theatrical productions. The wool is a little bit bobbled on one side around the skirt zip (yes a zip, which isn't very period appropriate, I know!) and waist, but otherwise in good condition. It's not overly noticeable when being worn. All this reflected in the price.
