The Emma Regency Petticoat is  designed to be worn with our Emma and Jane Regency Gowns in particular. It features short puffed sleeves and a front drawstring opening. The skirt lightly flares out and has a quilted hem very typical of the 1810s.
 
The skirt and bodice panels are all French seamed with some details around the cuff and neckline hand stitched.
 
The petticoat can be ordered in a range of colours and fabrics to create a striking contrast underneath semi sheer muslin gowns that were the height of fashion during the Napoleonic era.
 
Our 100% cotton lawn is the perfect, lightweight, breathable option that should be a staple of your historical wardrobe.
For extra luxury, or a decadent finish to an evening gown, opt for our 100% silk habotai (shown in the photos).
If your dress allowance doesn't stretch to the opulence of silk, we also have a polyester habotai.
Colours are available for all fabrics, although their may be slight differences in the shade between each due to fabric variations. Unfortunately the 'mist' blue grey shown on the model is only available in the silk and doesn't have comparable alternatives in the cotton and polyester.
 
Petticoat is modelled over chemise and short stays.
 
MADE TO MEASUREMENTS
Not everyone fits standard sizing so I make everything to the measurements you provide. This means lengths are just so and widths are just right. For some items like skirts I will only need a few basic measurements, but complicated items like gowns will require you to fill out a measurement chart. Once you have placed your order,  I will send my measurement chart and instructions PDF in a message, or create an account to immediately access your online measurement chart.
