Give your bustles a little bit of oomph with our lightweight bustle pad. Great for steampunk or if you don't want to wear a full bustle cage, this little padding will just help lift the back of your skirts. Also perfect for late 1860s silhouettes when the bustle was just coming in to fashion and the early 1890s as the bustle shape shrinks before disappearing all together.
 
Made from polyester wadding with cotton coverings and ribbon waist ties. I use leftover remnants from other projects to make these so fabric style and colour may vary, but will often be a stripe from bathing suits like pictured or occassionally Victorian reproduction cotton prints.  I can't guarantee having a particular colour available, but feel free to make a request in the notes box. If you order as part of a bigger commission I will endeavour to tone the pad with your other colours (even if no-one sees it, it's nice to be matchy matchy!)
