This decadent fantasy ball outfit was made as a replica of the show piece that is also available in the Blue Lady Couture spring sale. It consists of smart, Victorian style trousers, a beautiful brocade waistcoat and a striking jacket in dark purple taffeta with acid green buttonhole accents imitating the styling of 18th century frock coats with turned back lapels and cuffs.
Full disclosure: The ensemble was made for a client some years ago who never came back to me to complete payment. It has been stored for a number of years, but is in pristine, unworn condition. It's time for me to pass this on to free up storage space and recoup some costs.

Trousers made from poly wool blend twill, with decorative dark purple taped side seam. Side seam pockets. Button fly. High waisted, period style with fishtail back and adjustable band.

Waistcoat with fronts made from multi-tonal purple polyester brocade. Plain black poly lining and back. Welt pockets and vintage glass buttons with adjustable waist tab at back.

Jacket made from dark purple faux silk effect polyester taffeta with black lapel and cuffs. Cut in a loosely 18th century style featuring faux embroidered buttonhole motifs in acid green with black buttons.
