This is a stunning two piece bustle skirt set with an orange butterfly theme.
 
It was a prototype started as part of my Victorian Faiytale series, intend to be one of the three fairies from Sleeping Beauty, but other projects took over and never got completed. It would be a fab project for someone crafty to trim this up further and finish it off.
 
It is made from a stunning monarch butterfly print with an initial trim of pleated lace organza. The waist is a set size like our Parlour Bustles, but two buttons give an inch of flexibility. The underskirt is made from orange poly-cotton with an elasticated waist and frothy net hem cut into petal shapes.
 
Please note the overskirt bustle was intended to have additional trimming on the hem, but is wearable as is. If you're crafty you could add your own extra trim and swags to match to any tops or accessories.

Waist measures 29-30"/ 74-76.5cm
Length of petticoat from waist to hem is 25" plus the net petals overhang this a little.
